A Waypoint is a location on the Realm that a robot can navigate to during a Task. Waypoints represent goal positions used by Nav2.

Creating a Waypoint

  • Click the Create Waypoint button at the top right.
  • Enter the waypoint settings.
  • Click Create.

Editing a Waypoint

  • Click the View button on the right of the waypoint.
  • Update the waypoint settings.
  • Click Update.

Deleting a Waypoint

  • Click the View button on the right of the waypoint.
  • Click Delete.
  • The system will verify that no entities are referencing the waypoint.
  • Click Delete again to confirm.

Settings

  • Name: The name of the waypoint.
  • X (m): The X coordinate of the waypoint in metres.
  • Y (m): The Y coordinate of the waypoint in metres.
  • Rotation (rad): The rotation of the waypoint in radians.
  • Facilities: The list of facilities available at the waypoint.

The Facilities setting does not affect system behaviour at this time.
